Dear Craftspeople,
We
are planning the 35th Annual Apple Pie Craft Fair to
be held rain or shine, Saturday,
August 23 from 9 am - 3 pm on the Newport Town
Common.
As
you may know, the Apple Pie Craft Fair is an annual
event sponsored by the Library
Arts
Center
to raise funds for exhibits, classes
and programs. The fair is open to both amateur and
professional
artists and craftspeople and will provide
an opportunity to exhibit, market and demonstrate
your
work. Handcrafted items are given preference.
Farmer's Market and homebaked goods (except
apple
pies) are welcome. All merchandise and
food sold is subject to approval by the Library
Arts Center
Board.

THE SPACE FEE FOR THE FAIR IS $65.00.
PLEASE
RESERVE BY AUGUST 1, 2008.
The
$65.00 space fee is non-refundable after August 15,
2008. Registrations
after August
15 will have
a late fee of $10. No vendor is
accepted for booth space until payment is
received in
full. No booths
will be booked on the morning of
the fair. Spaces measure a generous
15 by 15
ft. You will
be responsible for providing your
own display table, tarp (in case of rain) and
managing
your own
sales transactions. We
hope you will join us! The Apple Pie Craft Fair, combined
with the
Richards Free Library
Book Festival, will attract people
to Newport from a wide range of surrounding
communities.

the Library Arts Center, 58 North
Main
Street, Newport,
NH 03773, with your check made
out to the Library Arts Center. You will be assigned
a reserved space. A list of reserved
locations will be posted at the bandstand on the common
the evening
before the fair. For information

We have asked for information about
make of vehicle and license
plates to encourage crafters
to move their vehicles from around the common after
unloading, in order to make room for customers to park.
