Newport
NH is a quiet, friendly mill town located 6 miles
west of Lake Sunapee between interstates 89 and
91. So quiet in fact that you could drive right
though it and miss most of the fun things to
do!
There
is a wide variety of great places to eat, a thriving
art scene, and wonderful outdoor recreation including
camping, golf, and biking and hiking.
During
the summer months the town common has events
all weekend. Farmers’ Markets are held
on Fridays 3-6pm, flea markets and crafts fairs
on Saturdays, and outdoor concerts on the bandstand
every Sunday. |
