Lake Sunapee Protective Association (LSPA) Summer Series - Winter Ice Boating
LSPA Learning Center, Sunapee Harbor, NH
Alan Peterson talks of ice boating and winter activities on and near Lake Sunapee.
Peterson began ice boating 33 years ago when he first came to Sunapee and has built his own ice boat. He knows about windsurfing on snow and ice. As an avid sailor, too, he knows first-hand how to harness the elements for fun!

The 49th annual Antique Show and Sale, with select New England dealers, takes place on the New London Town Green, rain or shine. Between 11 am and 2 pm lunch, baked goods, and snacks will be available from the Garden Café. The Garden Club will also be selling perennial plants and flower arrangements. W. A. Smith Auctions will be on site to appraise up to three items per person, for $5 for each, or $10 for all three. Tickets are $8, or $7 with a discount coupon, and early admission tickets are $20 for 8 am admission; proceeds benefit UNH and Colby-Sawyer Scholarships, and civic beautification projects.
